History

First AID and Health Care Training Center Thai Redcross Society

It is responsible for managing training and disseminating knowledge in the field of first aid and public health. It also serves as an academic reference for society in the areas of first aid and public health for the Medical Council of Thailand. Its goal is to improve the quality of life, especially for the elderly, disadvantaged children, and youth, by providing first aid training at the community level. This enables them to assist injured individuals in accidents and disasters, thereby reducing mortality and disability before reaching a doctor or an ambulance.

Established on October 1, 2001

In accordance with the policy of Thai Redcross Society, the training activities in first aid conducted under the Relief and Public Health Bureau, as well as the health training conducted by the In-House Health Training Division of the central office, have been merged into a single entity.
